Nestled in the tranquil residential area of Mkhuhlu, New Life Primary is a beacon of educational excellence.

Established in 2019 by Ms Isabel van der Linde, the CEO and Ms Olga Botes, Principal at New Life Primary at that time, envisioned New Life Primary as a haven for nurturing young minds and fostering a sense of community. They wanted to create a school where students could receive a comprehensive education while also learning the values of integrity, empathy, and innovation.

In its early years, New Life Primary started as a modest one-room schoolhouse (from a garage) with 19 learners in grade 1, catering for the educational needs of local children from the Mkhuhlu area. Over time, as the surrounding community grew, so did the school. One of the neighbours were busy building a block of flats across the street which she then agreed to change into classrooms, where the school continued from the next year in 2020 with three classes -two Grade 1 and one Grade 2. The school continues to grow., New Life Primary now  boasts twelve classes – four Grade 1’s, three Grade 2’s, two Grade 3’s, two Grade 4’s and one Grade 5.
